THIS Friday (16 November) is the closing date for nominations for the force’s Diamond Awards 2012/13 which will be celebrated in a special ceremony in January next year.
In his latest blog post, Deputy Chief Constable Dave Thompson urges officers and police staff not to miss the chance to nominate a ‘Diamond’.
“The Diamond Awards are not just about the big things, they are about really important small acts of care delivered on a regular basis.
“If you know someone who deserves recognition, then you owe it to them to nominate before Friday,” says DCC Thompson.
