MEMBERS of a Vietnamese gang suspected of peddling drugs have been arrested by the force during a Birmingham city centre club raid in the early hours of this morning (12 November).
Officers stormed Club DV8 in Lower Essex Street just after midnight and arrested a total of 28 people for various drugs offences including supply, possession and cultivation.
Ten were found to be in the country illegally – having overstayed visas or covertly entering the UK – and have been detained by the UK Border Agency pending their removal to Vietnam.
