IN PARTNERSHIP with the Police Mutual Foundation*, the force is delighted to introduce the new Wellbeing Zone for all officers, police staff and special constables.

The WMP Wellbeing Zone is a free online health and wellbeing resource, designed to help you lead a healthier, balanced lifestyle.
The site contains information, factsheets and interactive tools – such as a personal trainer and diet diary – to help you with exercise, diet, and stress management. The site also provides national discounts for spas and fitness clubs in your area.
Dr Haider Bhogadia, Force Occupational Health Physician, said: “The force is committed to providing officers and staff with the right tools and support to help take care of their personal health.
“So we’re delighted to introduce the new Wellbeing Zone and hope that everyone will make full use of the great range of services and discounts on offer.”

Health Screening Programme coming to your LPU
The force has also secured a Health Screening Programme in conjunction with Police Mutual to run over a three-week period from Tuesday 6 November.
The programme will involve a nurse visiting locations across the force area with a purpose-built mobile screening unit.
Each voluntary screening will take around 15 minutes and look at an individual’s height, weight, body mass index (BMI), pulse, blood sugar and cholesterol.
And being just 15 minutes long, the mobile screening unit can accommodate up to 22 officers, police staff and special constables in one day.
