EMPLOYEES will soon be able to access an electronic version of their payslips, known as e-payslips, via the Oracle HR self-service portal.

New, password protected e-payslips mean that employees can view, print and save their information as they wish
The electronic payslip is identical in layout to the paper version and is provided in a secure, convenient PDF format which enables officers and staff to view, print or save it to another location.
A reference guide providing step-by-step instructions on how to access the Oracle HR self-service portal, along with a frequently asked questions sheet, is available from the Exchequer Services intranet site.
For security, you will need a valid user name and password in order to access the Oracle self-service portal. No-one else is able to access or view your payslip without your password, so it is important not disclose it to anyone else.
There will be a phased roll-out of this facility and the date you will be first able to view your payslip electronically will be dependent on your surname.

Roll-out dates
- 25 June – Surnames beginning A to I.
- 9 July – Surnames beginning J to Q.
- 25 July – Surnames beginning R to Z
Please note that paper payslips will continue to be printed for everyone in June and July but will cease to be printed from August 2012.
For the small number of employees who do not have access to the Oracle HR self-service portal or who are currently on a period of authorised absence (maternity leave, for example), paper payslips will continue to be produced. Those individuals will be identified and contacted before August by Exchequer Services.
Please familiarise yourself with the self-service portal and have your password reset if necessary prior to your roll-out date.
