Chief Constable Chris Sims has taken to the airwaves with Radio 5 journalist Phil Mackie to explain to staff the details around business partnering.

The interview covers on a wide range of subjects including why the force is looking to work with a potential partner to how the process will work and the possible timescales.
“The work we are doing around business partnering has been fairly extensively covered in previous editions of News Beat, we have done a live web chat and I have carried out a number of one to one briefings to staff on LPUs and departments but this is such an important issue I want to ensure that all staff are very clear of the reasoning behind this project – and the benefits it could bring,” said Mr Sims.
